At Mobius, we believe that math can be taught differently. We believe that kids learn best when the math is challenging and interesting, but not impossible. Mobius Math is math at their exact level.
We believe that kids learn best with a combination of human teachers AND amazing technology. Technology to find the perfect level of challenge, and human teachers to coach, encourage, and inspire.
We believe that learning happens when kids are working on interesting and challenging math problems, and that lectures and instruction should be just when they need it, not before they even attempt a problem.
If that sounds like your kind of math education, you are in the right place.

Mobius Math is built from the ground up to be kid-centric. We cover the same K-12 math curriculum as schools, but we choose what each kid works on based on their own strengths and challenges, not their age or grade level.
Kids in any Mobius Math program will be working on one of the most modern technology platforms in the education space, but we are strong believers in the power of human teachers to connect with, and get the most out of, every child.
We believe that repetition of the fundamentals until they are second nature, but we allow kids to progress at their own pace as soon as they are mastered.

J loves attending Mobius every week. Over the past year Mobius has helped J go from being an intimidated math student with low grades to a confident math student who is “an eager participant in class and has an expert grasp of all material covered” - (direct quote from J’s report card).

Our math curriculum covers all the topics you would expect from early numeracy in grade 1 to the advanced topics of grade 12.
Kids progress at their own pace, so many will be working on topics that are ahead or behind what is typical at their grade level.
We will start with leveling exercises to understand your child’s current strengths and challenges across all key areas (ie, geometry, number sense, algebra, etc).
From that starting point, we will work on units at their exact level of challenge in each area, to build confidence and mastery.
We will return to each learning area every few weeks, to ensure they retain what they have learned, and are able to build on it.
Every week you will receive a detailed report on the areas we focused on, how your young student did, and any topic areas that were a challenge.
Classes are 45 minutes long, and most kids attend one class per week.
In each class, we do a series of activities, each 7-10 minutes long. All kids will work on skill exercises, younger kids may do some math-powered gaming, and older kids may do some competitive math challenges.
Weekly progress reports highlight areas of challenge and provide optional homework targeted at those specific areas.
