What is the time after 30 minutes are subtracted?

🎙️

First let's read the time. The hour hand is just past 2, and the minute hand is at 3, so it's two fifteen

🎙️

Now we can subtract 30 minutes. Remember that there are 60 minutes in an hour, so we subtract 15 to get to zero, and then 60 minus 15 is 45. So our time is one 45.

🎙️

We can show as a clock if we need to by putting the hour hand between 1 and 2, and the minute hand to 9, which means 45 minutes
