What time does this clock show?

🎙️

The hour hand is between 1 and 2, so the hour is 1

🎙️

The minute hand is at 9, so the minutes are 5 times 9, or 45

🎙️

So the time is one 45

🎙️

But we could also call it quarter to 2 as it's a quarter hour before 2 o'clock
